ITC Opens Probe Into NAND, DRAM Memory Chip Imports Over Patent Infringement Claims

WASHINGTON, June 13 (TNSFR) -- The International Trade Commission has instituted an investigation into imported NAND and DRAM memory chips following a complaint alleging patent infringement by major memory manufacturers and related products sold in the U.S.

The investigation stems from a complaint filed on May 11, 2026, by MonolithIC 3D Inc. of Allen, Texas, with supplemental filings submitted on May 28 and June 1. The company alleges violations of Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1 . . .
