DOT FAA Establishes Class E Airspace at Smoky Bend Ranch Airport in Texas

WASHINGTON, June 12 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has issued a final rule establishing Class E airspace at Smoky Bend Ranch Airport, Mullin, Texas, to support instrument flight rule operations and instrument procedures being developed for the airport. The airspace designation will take effect on Oct. 29, 2026, and covers airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface within an 8.3-mile radius of the airport.
