HarperCollins Publishers today announced that Christa Desir has been named a VP, Editorial Director, in the Avon Group. Reporting to Tessa Woodward, VP, Publisher, Avon Group, Desir will focus on key acquisitions, special projects, and new editorial strategies. She begins her new role June 15.
