U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Establishes Danger Zones Near Naval Academy Firing Range in Maryland

WASHINGTON, June 12 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has adopted a final rule establishing three danger zones in the waters of Carr Creek and Whitehall Bay near Naval Support Activity Annapolis in Maryland. The action is intended to support safe operation of the U.S. Naval Academy firing range and provide legal authority to restrict vessel access during active training exercises involving Sailors, Midshipmen and law enforcement personnel.
