WASHINGTON, June 12 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed extending the attainment deadline for the San Joaquin Valley's 2012 annual fine particulate matter standard from Dec. 31, 2025, to Dec. 31, 2030. The proposal is based on a determination that California has met the requirements under the Clean Air Act for a Serious-area attainment date extension.
