Catawba Indian Nation Linked to 1,589 Funerary Objects in Charleston District Inventory

WASHINGTON, June 11 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District, identified 1,589 associated funerary objects as culturally affiliated with the Catawba Indian Nation.

The determination followed completion of an inventory conducted under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, a notice said.
