WASHINGTON, June 5 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed approving Louisiana's coal combustion residuals permit program under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, a move that would allow the state to administer much of its own regulatory system for coal ash disposal facilities while retaining federal oversight in selected areas.
