WASHINGTON, June 4 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a final rule removing outdated provisions from Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 214, Side Impact Protection, while making related amendments to standards covering electric-powered vehicles and hydrogen-powered vehicles.
