WASHINGTON, May 29 -- Rep. Chris Smith, R-New Jersey, issued the following statement on the protesters at Delaney Hall:

"I have always supported and will continue to deeply respect our Nation's law enforcement officers, including those serving in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), with both my voice and vote.
