Justice Dept. DEA Proposes Removing Inactive Butalbital Drugs From Controlled Substance Exemption List

WASHINGTON, May 27 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration has proposed revoking the exempted status of dozens of inactive butalbital prescription products that are no longer marketed or linked to companies that no longer exist. The proposal would remove the affected products from DEA's Table of Exempted Prescription Products under the Controlled Substances Act while leaving active exempted products unchanged.
