WASHINGTON, May 22 -- The U.S. State Department issued a joint statement from the Arctic Allies announcing a collaborative agreement to deepen dialogue on security challenges and bolster stability across the Arctic and High North. Responding to increased military activity from Russia and growing strategic interest from China, the coalition is enhancing its military presence, surveillance capabilities and joint training in a coordinated manner.
