WASHINGTON, May 21 -- Speaking in the House of Commons, Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves announced a multi-million-pound package of economic measures to support families and businesses facing rising costs due to the war in Iran. To protect strategic industries, she established a 350 million-pound Critical Chemicals Resilience Fund and a 120 million-pound fund for the ceramics sector.
