WASHINGTON, May 20 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Energy has designated the Crescent Junction Uranium Mill Tailings Repository property in Grand County, Utah, as an off-limits federal area, making unauthorized entry onto the site a criminal offense under federal law. The action applies to approximately 936 acres located north of Interstate 70, about three miles west of Thompson Springs, Utah.
