WASHINGTON, May 19 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Interior Bureau of Land Management announced on May 19, 2026, that it intends to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement examining a proposed rulemaking designed to streamline permitting for oil and gas production site development within the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska.
