WASHINGTON, May 19 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior National Park Service announced on May 18, 2026, its intent to extend two concession contracts covering visitor services operations at Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area, Oneida, Tennessee and Fire Island National Seashore, Ocean Beach, New York. The notice stated that the extensions are intended to ensure uninterrupted visitor services while the agency works toward awarding replacement concession agreements.
