WASHINGTON, May 15 (TNSLrpt) -- PNNL-28549, Grid Impacts of Hyperloop Technology in the United States, was published in March 2019 and studied how conceptual Hyperloop systems could affect the electric grid. The report concludes that Hyperloop's pulsing power demand would likely create voltage and frequency disturbances unless compensation equipment or energy storage is added.
