WASHINGTON, May 15 -- British Ambassador James Kariuki, charge d'affaires at the United Nations, pledged continued British support to help deliver a peaceful and prosperous future for the Syrian people during a United Nations Security Council meeting in New York. Kariuki welcomed progress on Syria's political transition and the start of legal proceedings against former Assad regime figures for their crimes.
