WASHINGTON, May 14 (TNSFR) -- The Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, Harvard University has begun the process to transfer dozens of cultural items connected to the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Mission Indians of the Santa Ynez Reservation, California under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, according to a notice published by the National Park Service.
