Museum of Us Identifies Cultural Link to Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians

WASHINGTON, May 13 (TNSFR) -- The Museum of Us announced the completion of an inventory tied to ancestral human remains and funerary objects connected to Native American communities in California's Central Valley, according to a notice published by the National Park Service.

The museum determined that human remains representing at least three individuals and 1,511 funerary objects are culturally affiliated with the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians, Shingle Springs Rancheri . . .
