WASHINGTON, May 11 (TNSFR) -- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives proposes amending Department of Justice regulations to provide clarity for conduct prohibited by federal law commonly referred to as a straw purchase.

Comments must be submitted in writing, and must be submitted on or before (or, if mailed, must be postmarked on or before) August 4, 2026, according to a Federal Register notice.
