House Homeland Security, China Committees Seek Information from AI Giant Anysphere About China Connections

WASHINGTON, May 12 (TNSletter) -- House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Andrew R. Garbarino, R-New York, and Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Michigan, chairman of the House Select Committee on China, have sent a letter to Anysphere Inc., a San Francisco, California-based company involved in artificial intelligence seeking a wide range of documents related to its China relationships. The letter was sent to Anysphere CEO Michael Truell on April 29, 2026.
