ARLINGTON, Va. (AFNS) - Lt. Gen. Douglas A. Schiess has been nominated by President Donald J. Trump to serve as the Space Force's next Chief of Space Operations. 

If confirmed by the Senate, Schiess will become the service's highest-ranking office . . .
