WASHINGTON, April 29 -- The University of Tampa students proposed innovative solutions for recruitment and retention at the inaugural problem-solving competition hosted by the College of Social Sciences, Mathematics and Education. The event challenged participants to assist the Greater Tampa Bay chapter of Girls on the Run, a national nonprofit focused on building confidence in young girls through running, by identifying ways to expand its volunteer coach network beyond the education sector.
