The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) has welcomed the acquittal of Ahmed Shihab-Eldin on 23 April. The American-Kuwaiti journalist had been detained in Kuwait for seven weeks after commenting on videos and images related to the US-Israeli war with Iran.
