Pennsylvania Teacher Named 2026 National Teacher of the Year

Leon Smith - secondary teacher at Haverford High School and Pennsylvania's 2025 Teacher of the Year - was named the 2026 National Teacher of the Year.

This is the second year in a row that a Pennsylvania educator has claimed the national honor.
