NREL Fixes Offshore Wind Bias in California

WASHINGTON, April 22 (TNSLrpt) -- National Renewable Energy Laboratory released report NREL/TP-5000-88215 (also PNNL-35708), titled 'Causes of and Solutions to Wind Speed Bias in NREL's 2020 Offshore Wind Resource Assessment for the California Pacific Outer Continental Shelf,' in February 2024. Lead author Nicola Bodini and collaborators from NREL, PNNL, Veer Renewables, and universities prepared it under DOE Contract DE-AC36-08GO28308.
