OMB Issues Statement of Administration Policy on Removal of U.S. Armed Forces From Hostilities With Iran

WASHINGTON, April 16 -- The White House Office of Management and Budget issued the following statement of administration policy on a resolution (H.Con.Res. 40) that directs the president, pursuant to Sec. 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution, to remove U.S. armed forces from hostilities with Iran. The resolution was introduced by Rep. Gregory W. Meeks, D-New York, and 90 cosponsors.
