OMB Issues Statement of Administration Policy on Haiti Temporary Protected Status

WASHINGTON, April 15 -- The White House Office of Management and Budget issued the following statement of administration policy on a bill (H.R. 1689) that requires the Secretary of Homeland Security to designate Haiti for temporary protected status. The bill which was introduced by Rep. Laura Gillen, D-New York, and six cosponsors.
