WASHINGTON, April 17 (TNSrep) -- Washington and Lee University student Emma Marvelli has received a Goldwater Scholarship to fund a career in science and engineering research. The award provides $7,500 to support undergraduate students who show promise of becoming leaders in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields and intend to pursue a doctorate.
