WASHINGTON, April 17 -- Pharmacy professionals are gaining specialized skills to combat the opioid crisis through a specialized training program co-developed by Phillip Marotta, associate professor at the Washington University St. Louis George Warren Brown School. The curriculum prepares pharmacists and technicians to serve as community health workers focused on harm reduction and substance use care.
