WASHINGTON, April 17 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration issued a final rule establishing specific safety standards for the installation of non-rechargeable lithium batteries in underwater locator beacons. These requirements apply to Boeing 757-200, 757-200PF, 757-200CB and 757-300 series aircraft modified by Honeywell International Inc., Charlotte, North Carolina.
