WASHINGTON, April 17 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration issued final special conditions effective addressing the safety standards for rechargeable lithium batteries on several aircraft models from Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., Savannah, Georgia. The action follows an application by ALOFT AeroArchitects, Georgetown, Delaware, to modify G-IV, GIV-X, GV and GV-SP series airplanes with the high-energy power systems.
