WASHINGTON, April 9 -- Two students from Western New England University received Pediatric Oncology Student Training grants from the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation to conduct research on high-risk neuroblastoma.
The grants provide $5,000 each to support summer training and research efforts in pediatric cancer. Undergraduate student Marwa Dreah, working under the mentorship of associate professor Ingo Koomoa-Lange, plans to examine immune-driven calcium signaling and survival . . .
