WASHINGTON, April 7 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services granted continued recognition to the Accreditation Commission for Health Care Inc., Cary, North Carolina, as a national accrediting body for critical access hospitals, allowing the commission to certify these rural facilities for participation in federal healthcare programs through Dec. 27, 2031.
