WASHINGTON, April 3 (TNSjou) -- Research by Yale University scientists has identified vulnerabilities in the largest forest protection credit systems, suggesting that current frameworks may allow governments to collect income without improving conservation. Luke Sanford, assistant professor of environmental policy and governance, and Alberto Garcia, assistant professor at the University of Utah, conducted the study to evaluate the integrity of jurisdictional carbon credits.
