WASHINGTON, April 2 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Education Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services has issued a proposed rule extending the funding for 43 American Indian Vocational Rehabilitation Services projects and one training center through Sept. 30, 2027. This proposal seeks to waive federal regulations that usually limit grant periods to five years and prevent the obligation of additional money during project extensions.
