WASHINGTON, March 28 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration announced the initiation of a countervailing duty investigation to determine if producers of truck bed covers in China receive unfair subsidies.

The action follows a petition filed on Feb. 25, 2026, by RealTruck, Ann Arbor, Michigan. RealTruck alleges that China provides subsidies to its exporters allowing them to sell products at prices that injure or threaten U.S. manufacturers.
