San Bernardino County Museum to Return Ancestral Remains, Artifacts to California Tribes

WASHINGTON, March 28 (TNSFR) -- The San Bernardino County Museum, Redlands, California, is repatriating human remains and associated funerary objects to Native American groups following an inventory conducted under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The museum determined that the remains and artifacts have cultural affiliation with the Morongo Band of Mission Indians, California, and Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation.
