WASHINGTON, March 28 (TNSFR) -- Marshall University is preparing to return the remains of 27 individuals and 26 funerary objects to affiliated tribes following a completed inventory under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
The institution identified the individuals through a review of collections tied to several locations across West Virginia, including the Clover Site in Cabell County, areas near Point Pleasant in Mason County and Sycamore Creek in Putnam C . . .
