WASHINGTON, March 25 -- Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-North Carolina, chairwoman of the House Rules Committee, issued the following remarks at a hearing to consider a legislative package aimed at federal funding and urban renewal. During the session, Foxx called for the immediate passage of measures to fully fund the U.S. Department of Homeland Security following a month of operational disruptions and unpaid personnel.
