WASHINGTON, March 24 (TNSjou) -- A research team at Northwestern Engineering led by Lisa Volpatti, assistant professor of chemical and biological engineering and biomedical engineering, has identified how nanoparticle coatings detach within the body, a discovery that could enhance the safety of targeted gene-silencing and immunotherapies.
