WASHINGTON, March 23 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Justice filed a proposed modification to a standing consent decree with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama on March 13, 2026. This filing seeks to require BASF Corp., Florham Park, New Jersey, to perform additional cleanup activities at the Ciba-Geigy Superfund Site located about two miles north of McIntosh, Alabama.
