WASHINGTON, March 18 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Ocean Energy Management announced an intent to prepare an environmental impact statement regarding a proposal from DCOR LLC, Oxnard, California, to supplement its production plan for Platform Gilda located approximately nine miles southwest of Ventura, California. The proposal involves hydraulic fracturing of up to 16 existing wells to increase reservoir permeability and optimize hydrocarbon recovery.
