WASHINGTON, March 17 (TNSFR) -- The Autry Museum of the American West, Los Angeles, California, is preparing to return cultural items including sacred and unassociated funerary pieces, as well as an object of cultural patrimony, in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
The museum determined the items have cultural affiliation and were intentionally placed with or near human remains, or are needed for traditional ceremonial purposes.
