WASHINGTON, March 17 (TNSFR) -- The American Museum of Natural History, New York, is preparing to return human remains representing nine individuals to the Tohono O'odham Nation of Arizona under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
Historical records connected to the collection also reference hairbrushes gathered in Arizona in the early twentieth century and catalogued as Papago, a name historically used for the Tohono O'odham people.
