WASHINGTON, March 13 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Navy announced that it has terminated plans to prepare a supplemental environmental impact statement regarding homeport facilities for three NIMITZ-Class aircraft carriers.
This decision halts the environmental review process originally intended to support the U.S. Pacific Fleet's infrastructure requirements.
