WASHINGTON, March 12 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Treasury Financial Crimes Enforcement Network issued a geographic targeting order to combat illicit finance involving drug cartels and other actors along the southwest border of the U.S. This mandate requires money services businesses in specific regions to report and retain records for currency transactions between $1,000 and $10,000.
