Vladimir Borschev, 90, adjunct professor of linguistics, died Feb. 14 in Amherst. From 1998 until 2025, Borschev co-taught courses on mathematics for linguists at UMass Amherst with his wife, lecturer and Distinguished University Professor Emerita Barbara Partee.
