WASHINGTON, March 9 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service issued a proposed rule decreasing the assessment rate for olives grown in California. Based on a recommendation from the California Olive Committee, the rate would drop from $28 to $24 per ton. This change is intended to take effect for the 2025 fiscal year and remain in place indefinitely until future modification.
