WASHINGTON, March 7 -- Environmental Protection Agency officials recently rescinded a landmark 2009 finding that greenhouse gas emissions threaten public health, a move that dismantles the legal basis for federal climate regulations. Scholars from the Yale School of the Environment warn that this rollback arrives as the three-year temperature average officially breached the Paris Agreement threshold of 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.
